This was the best tour ever! Kakheti is incredibly beautiful and magical. It was especially nice to see how passionately and lovingly the tour guide Roni conducted the tour. Excellent route through plains with mountain views. We started our day tasting wine, cheese, lavash. Simultaneously, we were photographed in sheepskins and papakhas, and we made churchkhela and lavash ourselves. Then we arrived at a beautiful estate, where there was a tour and free time for coffee and walks. And finally, we danced a round dance around a 900-year-old tree, which was filmed in the movie Mimino. As it got dark, we returned home following the same path as in the movie Mimino and the serpentine road. Overall, the day went well!
The tour was very interesting. We learned a lot of new things about the history of Georgia, both medieval and recent, its landmarks, alphabet, winemaking, and so on. Iya amazed us with her erudition and excellent knowledge of the Russian language. Special thanks go to her confident and careful driving. Thank you very much for the trip, Iya! I highly recommend this tour to everyone, especially those visiting Georgia for the first time.
