About this experience
Kakheti is the soul and heart of Georgia. It's hectares of vineyards, sun, wine, ancient temples, Europe's longest fortress wall, sleepy towns, and clay roofs. We will show you all the facets of our beloved region - rich with the bitterness of wines, aromas of bread, sweetness of churchkhela. There will be tastings, master classes, plenty of natural beauty, and history.
What to Expect
Manavi. We will visit a village with unique Mtsvane vineyards. Participate in a master class on making churchkhela and taste 5 varieties of wine - Rkatsiteli, Kindzmarauli, Saperavi, Kisi, Rose (made from rose petals). You will also try chacha, brandy, mulled wine, pastila, and honey.
Badiayri. Not far from Manavi, there is an interesting village. Here, traditional Georgian lavash is baked on firewood. You will observe this process and even participate if desired. You will also taste 2 types of village cheese.
Bodbe Monastery. We will visit the female monastery where St. Nino rests, and the miraculous icon of the mother of Christ is kept. Stroll in the picturesque courtyard overlooking the Alazani Valley.
Sighnaghi. Then we will head to the city of love, walk along the longest fortress wall in Europe. Enjoy the city and the Caucasus Mountains, and even zip-line across the Signagi Gorge.
Tsinandali. Here you will have lunch, taste rare wines, and visit the house-museum of Georgian prince Alexander Chavchavadze.
Telavi. In the capital of Kakheti, take photos at the palace of Irakli II, hug the 900-year-old plane tree, and make a wish near it.
Gombori Pass. On our way back to Tbilisi, we will pass through the Gombori Pass. Enjoy the views of the Ujarma Fortress in the sunset rays.

Simultaneously, we were photographed in sheepskins and papakhas, and we made churchkhela and lavash ourselves. Then we arrived at a beautiful estate, where there was a tour and free time for coffee a...
