Tbilisi - See and Feel
About this experience
Our goal is to immerse you in the city's atmosphere so that you feel like its residents. In addition to visiting iconic places, we will take you through secret alleys and show you a hidden courtyard where medieval artifacts were found. We will bake 'shoti', taste exclusive wines, have a photoshoot in ethnic style. You will learn about the history, culture, traditions of Tbilisi and feel its hospitality.
What to Expect
In our program: Freedom Square, Gudiashvili Square, Baratashvili Avenue, Anchiskhati Church - one of the first churches in Tbilisi, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park, cable car, Narikala Fortress, Mother of Georgia statue, historic district of Abanotubani, Sioni Street, Tamada monument, caravanserai, and much more.
- Freedom Square. The journey will start at this historical square. You will learn about its transformation over the centuries, its changing appearance and functions, as well as the role it plays in the city's modern life.
- Unexplored Tbilisi. Then we will head in search of secret locations known only to locals. You will see an interesting district with underground passages, and visit a courtyard where medieval artifacts were discovered - not everyone has access to this courtyard.
- Traditional bread. We will stop at a place where the oldest 'shoti' bread oven, dating back to the 17th century, is preserved. And not far from here, you will not only observe the baking process but also be able to participate in it.
- Sacred Georgian drink. We will continue the tour with a tasting of exquisite wines from the country's best vineyards, by artisanal producers. You will discover new facets of this noble drink and learn many fascinating facts about winemaking.
Throughout the excursion, you will be immersed in an atmosphere of hospitality and comfort. Between visits to the sites, we can discuss any topics - we will be happy to answer your questions about the city and the country in general. Additionally, at the end of the walk, we can arrange a photoshoot in ethnic style.
