Tbilisi for Introverts
About this experience
To truly feel the atmosphere of the colorful streets, hear the whispers of the past, silence and absence of crowds are needed. I will help you read the story of Tbilisi in stone, and the deserted morning will allow you to enjoy contemplative observation of the city. You will stroll along Rustaveli Avenue, through quiet courtyards, past ancient churches, and the elegant Bridge of Peace, immersing yourself in interesting facts about the capital and its architectural symbols. And in the photos you will take yourself, there will be only Tbilisi - and nothing else!
What to Expect
Visiting Rustaveli and Tbilisi Courtyards
We will start the walk in the center of Tbilisi, where the city buzzes at lunchtime. In the silence of the still sleepy city, I will tell you about the great poet Rustaveli and his sad love story with the queen. Walking along the eponymous avenue, you will encounter many buildings embodying old Tiflis, and at Freedom Square - the heavenly patron of Georgia. Next, you will see Tbilisi courtyards and balconies hanging over the fortress wall - the city's trademark.
Antiquity and Youth of the Capital
Unveiled from continuous movement, all the characteristic features of Tbilisi will come to the forefront, revealing contrasts. You will learn how the illusionary clock deceives travelers at the Rezo Gabriadze Theatre and why Georgian temple architecture is the way it is. In the 6th-century Anchiskhati Church, you will hear about a hidden icon, and at the Bridge of Peace, about an encrypted message within it.
Flight over the city and walk to the waterfall
Wandering through the city's streets, you will reach the cable car and ascend high on it. Soaring over the sprawling Tbilisi below will be the climax of the walk: you will see the city's rooftops and the legendary Narikala Fortress, where we will disembark from the cable car. Descending from the mountain, you will find a waterfall at the end of a picturesque gorge and a district of sulfur baths, where I will tell the main legend of Tiflis - about the pheasant and the falcon.
By the end of our walk, Tbilisi will shake off its slumber, become familiar and noisy, but the impression of it at dawn will stay with you forever.
Upon Your Request
We can start the morning with a cup of coffee or tea in a cozy café with a panoramic view of Tbilisi. After a lengthy walk along the avenues and squares, you will probably want to wash away your fatigue with warm sulfur water - I can reserve a sulfur bath to your liking, sending photos. I promise that the excursion will work up your appetite, and here Georgia can please you with its rich and delicious cuisine. Also, I can book one of the city's best restaurants for you completely free of charge, where you will be treated to delicious food. The prices will pleasantly surprise you, and you will finally learn what portions are like in Georgia.

I enjoyed the tour - it was great to get closer to the city, its history, and features. The tour was conducted by Lasha. He was very polite, easily and cheerfully introduced us to Tbilisi and its beautiful streets, shared old myths and stories about the city.
