About this experience
Join a 3D journey through Tbilisi with a 360° view. In a group of up to 8 people, you will explore the historical center from three levels: rooftops, streets, and water. Each terrace offers a view of a different side of the city. The program is unique in its selection of venues: you will visit off-the-beaten-path cafes, bars, and restaurants. Enjoy a tasting of selected drinks by the glass. Finally, take a 30-minute boat ride.
What to Expect
Tbilisi: A View From Above
From four observation decks, you will see the famous landmarks and sights of Tbilisi: Kote Abkhazi Street, or the 'street of four temples', Metekhi Church, Sulfur Baths, Legvtakhevi Waterfall, Narikala Fortress, Shardeni Street and Mtatsminda Rows, Meidan Bazaar on the site of the ancient market, Sioni Cathedral, Peace Bridge, Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater, and much more.
While you enjoy the views and drinks, as well as during the walks between venues, I will subtly tell you interesting stories and legends about the Georgian capital, its iconic places, and national cuisine. Additionally, you will receive recommendations for must-see places that you won't find in tourist guidebooks. And of course, if you wish, you will be photographed against the Tbilisi panoramas.
Tastings
At each of the four establishments, you can choose a glass of drink: lemonade, wine, beer, chacha. Also, in one of the bars, you will be served an assortment of Georgian cheeses - sulguni, tenili, imeruli. The tasting menu may vary depending on the season (hot/cold drinks).
Boat Ride: A View From Below
At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a pleasant bonus - a romantic 30-minute boat ride on the Kura River. You will sail among rocks and under the bridges of Tbilisi.
Organizational Details
- As the tour also includes a walking tour, guests are recommended to wear comfortable shoes.
- What's included: wine, chacha, beer, or lemonade tasting at each of the four establishments (choice of drink); bottled water for each participant; walking tour of the Old Town; boat ride (30 minutes)
- Additional expenses (optional): public transport tickets, attractions, museums at your discretion ($0.5-2); breakfast/lunch/dinner (in cafes $3-7 per person, in a restaurant - $15-20)
