About this experience
Our program consists of two parts. First, we will explore the unique corners of the historical center. Along the way, you will be accompanied by stories and legends of Tbilisi. Then, you will board a boat and enjoy drinks on board as you sail along the river past the ancient banks of the Kura, caves, waterfalls. And even see endangered cormorants up close.
What to Expect
Easy Walking Tour
We will meet in the area of the Sulfur Baths and first visit the Fig Gorge with a waterfall. Our guide will tell the legend of the founding of Tiflis. You will admire the colorful carved balconies and learn what makes Georgian baths special. Then you will walk through an underground passage to the pier, from where your water journey will begin.
Boat Ride on the Kura River (20-30 minutes)
From the boat, you will get a new perspective on the old districts of Kalaubani and Kldisubani. Sail under several beautiful bridges. See caves and waterfalls. And observe the cormorants listed in the Red Book - they only inhabit one stretch of the river here. You will enjoy the beauty of nature and cityscapes, take unusual photos of Tbilisi from the water, and taste drinks on board: tea, coffee, wine, or chacha.
🍷 To conclude, our guide will be happy to take wine connoisseurs to a 17th-century cellar where you can taste different varieties of the drink and buy a bottle or two to take home.
