Get ready to explore the old quarters of Tbilisi from the inside and admire the city's panoramas from the Kura River. What to Expect
First Impressions of Tbilisi
I will take you to the places where the history and unique color of Tbilisi are concentrated. You will visit the Metekhi Bridge and the Ethnographic Museum, hear Tbilisi legends at the Sulfur Baths and the Injir Valley with a waterfall, touch the history of the Church of Forty Martyrs, the Armenian Church of Surb Gevorg, and the Zion Church, where the Holy Nino Cross is kept. You will see the colorful facades and balconies of Tbilisi, the streets of Kote Abkhazi and Shardeni, the famous tamada monument, and the no less famous Gabriadze Theater. You will also explore Tbilisi from observation platforms, peek into vintage entrances on Dadiani Street, taste delicious churchkhela, and learn the most interesting facts about Georgian winemaking.
Sailing the Waves of the Kura River with a Glass of Wine
After a rich pedestrian walk, we will board a boat at the Bridge of Peace and sail on the Kura River. From a new perspective, you will see the characteristic Tbilisi landscapes - the Peace, Baratashvili, and Metekhi bridges, ancient churches, colorful houses with balconies overhanging the water, a small waterfall, and the futuristic Justice House. We will complement the river cruise with a tasting of exquisite Georgian wine.
