About this experience
On our tour, you will be able to visit world-famous historical and religious sites of the city, hear stories about their foundation and significance, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of spirituality.
What to expect
- We will meet at the Jaffa Gate and enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will see the place of the crucifixion of Christ - Golgotha, the cave of Adam, and the cave of the finding of the true cross by St. Helena.
- We will visit the Cenacle - the chapel where Jesus spent three days.
- Then we will stroll through the Jewish quarter of the old city, visit the ethnographic museum in an 800-year-old house, and see historical household items.
- Next, we will head to Mount Zion, where the Room of the Last Supper, the Dormition Abbey, King David's Tomb, Oskar Schindler's grave, and touch the Western Wall, sacred to all believers, are located.
- And also, if possible, if it is open, we will visit the house of the evangelist Mark, a friend and companion of the Apostle Paul (also known as Saul of Tarsus), where we will see the oldest handwritten icon in the world by the evangelist Luke.
