Jerusalem is vibrant, unique, and incredibly beautiful. You will wander through its colorful narrow streets, visit the main Christian holy sites, make a wish at the Western Wall, climb Mount Zion, and uncover all the facets of this amazing place.
What to Expect
The Diverse Jerusalem
We will meet at the Jaffa Gate and set off to explore the Old City. The tour includes:
- Mount Zion - you will visit the place where, according to tradition, the Last Supper and the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles occurred.
- Cathedral of the Dormition - I will reveal who this greatest Christian shrine is dedicated to.
- Upper Room of the Last Supper - this is where Jesus performed the first sacrament of communion with the apostles: the transformation of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ.
- Tomb of King David - you will learn why followers of the three major world religions venerate this holy site.
- Jewish Quarter - here you will see ultra-orthodox residents of the city and hear about the peculiarities of their life.
- Western Wall - it is believed that visiting this place brings great luck. If you place a note with a wish in the Wall, it will definitely come true!
- Church of the Holy Sepulchre - you will visit the main Christian shrine in the world. The place where Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead.
