About this experience
When communicating with tourists from different countries visiting Israel, and with the residents of this country who have friends or relatives coming to visit, there is often a problem of lack of time. This one-day tour is designed specifically for such people. During 5-6 hours, you will visit the Church of the Nativity, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Western Wall. You will see the holiest places for every Christian and touch the ancient stones that remember events from 2000 years ago.
Itinerary
- Departure from Jerusalem. The tour begins in Bethlehem, where King David, the most famous of the Jewish kings, was born a thousand years before the birth of Jesus, and according to the New Testament, the ancestor of Christ. Events from the life of the biblical Ruth also unfolded in Bethlehem.
- In Bethlehem, we will visit the Church of the Nativity, built by Empress Helena, the mother of Emperor Constantine. This is the oldest church that has not been destroyed since the 4th century!
- We will also visit a pilgrimage center where you can buy souvenirs: candles, oil, and icons that you can bless in holy places. There is no public transport in Bethlehem, so you can either use a car offered by the store if you buy souvenirs from them, or order a taxi (priced at $200).
- From Bethlehem, we will return to Jerusalem, enter the Old City through the Jaffa Gate, and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
- We will see the crucifixion site of Christ - Golgotha, the cave of Adam, and the cave where St. Helena found the true cross.
- We will visit the Edicule - the tomb where Jesus spent three days.
- Then we will touch the sacred Western Wall, important for all believers.
- If you have free time, you can continue our acquaintance the next day. Since Israel is home to many attractions and events that have influenced world history, it is worth coming back here again and again to discover something new every time.
