About the organizer
My name is Orna. I was born in Kyiv in 1979, and in 1990 I repatriated to Israel with my family, where I have been living in Jerusalem ever since, a city that I love dearly. As the famous Israeli writer and Nobel Prize laureate Shai Agnon once wrote: 'There are places I visit every day and each time I find something new in them.' I led my first tour back in school as part of the young guides club. Later, while studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I continued working as a guide. Today, I hold a master's degree in history, certified to teach history and literature, and licensed as a tour guide by the Ministries of Tourism and Education. I offer tours in Hebrew, Russian, and English, inviting guests and residents of Israel to visit my favorite places, where I am eager to share many fascinating facts. I personally conduct all my tours, and each route is uniquely designed by me. If the routes offered on the website do not suit your preferences, do not hesitate to contact me. I may create a program tailored specifically for you. All tours are conducted using microphones and earpieces, ensuring audibility even in noisy urban environments, so feel free to join with large groups at any time of day or year. Most of my tours are done on foot or utilizing public transportation. Looking forward to meeting you!
