What to expect
Marshal Tarkhan-Mouravi Palace (18-19th century). Here we will be greeted, guided through the halls, and told about the history of this place by descendants of the ancient dynasty. We will peek into the mirror room, touch the luxury, and vividly imagine how great dukes, socialites, famous artists once walked through these rooms, and how wine flowed from the fountain during celebrations.
A word about wine. Afterwards, we will visit a private winery. We will taste Georgian dishes while a local winemaker shares the secrets of his craft (or art?). And we will definitely exchange impressions - after all, this is no less interesting part of our journey than rest and lunch.
Luxurious palace of Prince Bagration-Mukhransky. After recharging, we will be greeted by the symbol of the Beautiful era, once the most important center of Georgian elite. We will travel back in time, admire the architecture and interiors. The castle combines 4 wonderful components: vineyards, winery, castle, and of course, history. By the way, they invited a gardener here from Versailles: we will definitely look at his works.
