Authentic Kakheti Experience
About this experience
Join our warm and lively group on a journey through Kakheti (where almost all Georgian wine comes from). Along the way, between stories about the history and traditions of this iconic region, we will listen to Georgian music and sing—there won't be a dull moment! You will visit a significant Orthodox shrine, Bodbe Monastery, and the city of Signagi—yes, where marriages are registered around the clock, just like in Las Vegas. The culmination will be a visit to a home wine cellar and a traditional Kakhetian feast hosted by locals.
What to Expect
Cult Bodbe Monastery of Georgia’s Enlightener
The journey will begin with a visit to the Orthodox shrine—the monastery of St. Nino, located in the village of Bodbe. The monastery is worth attention not only for its religious significance (housing the relics of Georgia's Enlightener) but also for its stunningly beautiful surroundings. Hovering over the Alazani Valley, the monastery covers a huge territory adorned with flower beds and lawns. Apart from the church buildings, you will encounter auxiliary farm buildings, vineyards, and a healing spring. Strolling through the beautiful alleys and being inspired by the views of the Caucasus mountain ranges, you will gradually immerse yourself in the basics of Georgia's spiritual culture and the serene atmosphere of antiquity.
Charming Signagi
Next on the agenda is perhaps the most romantic and beautiful town in Kakheti. Taking a walk through the small and fully renovated Signagi is a true pleasure. Before you will unfold a series of old houses outlined by cobblestone streets, and the atmosphere of quiet rural life will leave no room for questioning why this town is so beloved by couples. I will tell you about the renowned registry office and the million red roses of Niko Pirosmani. And from the highest points of Signagi, you will be treated to an unforgettable view of the Alazani Valley, where the famous wines of Kakheti are produced.
Home Feast and Wine from the Cellar
There is no better way to familiarize yourself with the ancient traditions of Kakheti than to visit the locals. The hospitality of a Kakhetian family will make your journey truly heartfelt and demonstrate in practice how important a Guest is for every Georgian. The home feast is not only a wonderful opportunity to taste exquisite national dishes but also a way to immerse yourself in this cultural phenomenon that has always been highly valued in our country. And the main star, of course, will be the wine—you will learn about the intricacies of its production and taste several varieties from the home cellar.

Our guide Zaza picked us up right on time, the car was new and comfortable for our group of 7 people. Zaza divided the route successfully, made stops at beautiful places, and inquired in advance if...

We took two tours with this team. The first one was in Tbilisi, guided by Elena - an interesting and charming girl. From the very first phrase, she set a rule - no politics in discussions, which was very important for our multinational group. She presented the material excellently, gave us plenty of...

Guide Alla remained silent throughout the whole trip, answered most questions with 'I don't know', there was no actual tour. I didn't understand why she was needed at all, we could have gone with just a driver. The car was comfortable, but they clearly skimped on using the air conditioner, only turn...
