Batumi, Adjara and Guria in one day
About this experience
You will see iconic places in the center of Batumi, and then explore Adjara and Guria. I will show you wonderful natural spots and landmarks of Georgia in miniature. Plus, you will drive along the longest street of the USSR and taste charcoal-grilled trout.
What to expect
Main about Batumi
I will show the 'visiting cards' of Batumi in express mode: the main Rustaveli Avenue, New Boulevard, Drama Theatre, Sea Terminal, Justice House, Ardagan Lake with dancing fountains, and the 'Upside-Down' restaurant building resembling an inverted Washington White House. Besides, we will pass by the Neptune Fountain, the 'Face' building, the dolphinarium, Pisa Tower, and the Acropolis of the local flood. I will tell the history of the creation of all interesting buildings and intriguing facts about the past and present life of Batumi.
Old fortress and wonderful panoramas
We will head to the village of Chakvi, where you will see the former lemonade building and enjoy magnificent views of the sea and the city. I will reveal the mysterious legend of the ancient Petra fortress and explain how it survived the collapse of the six greatest empires in human history. Next, you will drive along the longest street of the USSR and witness the place where the King of Colchis ceased the pursuit of the Argonaut Jason.
Miniature park, eucalyptus, and trout farm
I will show Georgia's landmarks in miniature and tell interesting facts about them. Optionally, we can visit a sandy beach with magnificent black magnetic sand in Shekvetili. Then, you will stroll through the eucalyptus park, where sculptures of world and Georgian stage stars are gathered. Moreover, you can not only see them but also hear them—each sculpture has a speaker with famous compositions of that performer. Finally, we will drive along a picturesque mountain road to a village with a fish farm—you will try freshly grilled trout and enjoy nature.
