About this experience
Yerevan Kond is called an authentic urban oasis, a 'city within a city'. And we will open portals into the labyrinths of this quarter for you! We will enter another dimension of Yerevan, explore the asymmetrical houses, stop for an Armenian lunch, and finally visit an old house to meet the locals.
What to expect
Mysterious Kond. We will delve into the most unusual district of Yerevan. Why did Yerevan residents prefer not to talk about its existence until recently? Let's find out! We will walk through rocky streets and colorful courtyards. And we will observe the small houses with asymmetrical walls perched on top of each other.
And its inexplicable architecture. We will visit the Saint John Church: here you will get acquainted with a monument of Armenian architecture - khachkar. Next, you will learn about vernacular (folk) architecture, whose motto is 'I made you from what was...' And if the walk ends in the dark, from the top of Kond, we will enjoy the view of evening Yerevan.
Armenian fast food. In a home cafe or on the gastro-wine street, you will be treated to lunch and a master class in making brduch (a type of sandwich with a filling of meat, cheese, and vegetables and of course instead of bread - lavash).
For dessert, you will try Armenian pastries - gata, and also learn why the number of gata varieties equals the number of dialects (there are about 50) of the Armenian language.

- If desired, during the final stop, you will enjoy original songs played on the guitar in Russian and Armenian. Details to be specified in the correspondence.
