About this experience
In Yerevan, completely different worlds coexist, each with its own character and pace of life, architecture, and mentality. I will show you the magnificent Republic Square and Victory Park, then take you through the neighborhoods of Kond and Old Nork. It is in them that the real Yerevan will be revealed: with winding streets, unlocked doors, gardens, vineyards, and friendly residents.
What to Expect
The Iconic Yerevan
We will explore the modern monumental Republic Square and stroll down the street where XIX-century mansions are preserved. We will climb the hill where Victory Park is located and admire the panoramic view of the city. You will also see the historic café 'Aragil' and appreciate the grand sculpture Mother Armenia, dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
The Unpretentious and Authentic Yerevan
You will walk through the distinctive district of Kond, where everything is mixed and twisted like in a thrilling novel. On its narrow streets, you will encounter fragments of Persian khans' mansions, half-buried stone houses, and bright graffiti. A completely different impression will be made by the Old Nork district. Here you will see solid two-story houses with 'marans.' These are the household part of the dwelling where winemaking and cheese-making were practiced, guests were entertained, and important events were celebrated.
