About this experience
Traveling to Trusohvi Gorge is one of the off-the-beaten-path routes in Georgia. This place used to be inaccessible for a long time: only footpaths led here. Here you will come face to face with beautiful nature, hear the silence, learn about abandoned villages, drive through the valley of mineral springs, and enjoy the taste of real Narzan water.
What to Expect
Uncharted mountain landscapes and mineral waters
The mountain valley, through which the Terek River flows originating higher in the Caucasus glaciers - we will drive along its course. At times, the road passes right above the cliffs and can be nerve-wracking, but the panoramic views of mountains with snowy caps are worth it. The gorge is also known as the Narzan Valley: you will see numerous mineral water outlets and whimsical travertine - natural limestone deposits. Marvel at the power of the water, which can knock you off your feet, and the lake that is considered bottomless. And of course, you can drink the healing Narzan water - it is beneficial for the gastrointestinal system.
How the gorge used to live and lives now
We will pass through several deserted high-mountain villages, abandoned by people due to difficult living conditions - I will tell you about its features. You will encounter picturesque ruins of the once impregnable 14th-century Zakagori fortress and holy places. And those who watched the movie 'Horizon' will recognize one of the Georgian scenes. In the gorge, you can have a picnic by buying meat, cheese, greens, and other Georgian treats on the way.

- The excursion starts in Tbilisi. I will pick you up from any agreed place and drop you off.
- The tour is conducted in a 4WD minivan
