Off-Road Adventure in Kazbegi and Truso Valley

What to Expect

We start our journey early in the morning, at 08:30. Half an hour after leaving the center of Tbilisi, we will make a stop at a bakery with fresh Georgian pastries. Throughout the trip, you will be entertained by the guide's stories about history, nature, legends, and Georgian life.

We will stop to admire the turquoise lake at the foot of the green mountains. And then we will be amazed at how two rivers merge into one but retain their colors.

Untouched Truso Gorge
After a coffee break, we will reach Truso by noon - and the next 1.5 hours will be devoted to a walk in the valley, reaching the amazing Bottomless Lake.

Village of Stepantsminda and lunch
Breathtaking views pass by the window, and it's time for lunch: it will be held at a trusted establishment with traditional Georgian cuisine.

Gergeti Church - the monastery above the clouds
We will drive up to one of the main attractions in Sakartvelo - the Holy Trinity Church in Gergeti. From here, the valley is at your feet, and above it rises the majestic Kazbek.

Friendship Arch and Ananuri Fortress
On the way back, we will not miss the creation of Soviet architects - and what views of the gorge from here! The last stop will be the citadel with a rich history.

Around 21:00 we will return to Tbilisi.

• The ascent to the church in Gergeti is included in the price
• Additional expenses (optional): lunch, tips for guide and driver. Note that toilets at stops are paid, so you need to have cash with you.

How the tour goes

• In a Mitsubishi Delica off-road vehicle. It may not be the most luxurious and super comfortable car, but it is reliable and equipped with everything necessary to tackle rough terrain and reach protected locations.
• The excursion starts and ends in Tbilisi. But if you want to spend a few days in the mountains, you can stay in Stepantsminda.
• You will be accompanied by a guide and a driver from our team

• Weather in the mountains is unpredictable and does not always match the forecast. Be prepared for heat, cold, rain, snow, and strong winds. The program may be adjusted due to weather conditions.
• If you are prone to motion sickness, it is advisable to take medication in advance
