About this experience
We will explore the stunning Trusohvi gorge, which will not only captivate you with incredible views, but also share memories of past glorious times. I want to transport you back to the era when fires were lit on the watchtowers every evening, cows jingled bells at the gates, and the village square was filled with the sounds of chonguri and harmonies.
What to expect
Path through fortresses and waterfalls
On the way to the gorge, we will pass by the picturesque castle of the Aragvi princes Machabeli, quench our thirst at a waterfall or a sparkling ferruginous-sodium source. Incredible views of mountain gorges, once protected by impregnable fortresses, will surround you from all sides. And along the road, I will show you long-abandoned villages, fields, and ancient Georgian prayer places.
Incredible landscapes of Truso gorge
After two hours of travel, you will face the beautiful Truso gorge with bubbling volcanic lakes and fields of mineral springs. You will not only enjoy panoramic views of majestic mountains and eternal ice, but also see mountain villages with ancient tower complexes, dramatically surrounded by mountain ridges.
Picnic at the mountain slopes
After exploring the gorge, we will have a picnic against the backdrop of the mountains with meat and local side dishes. And if we are lucky, we will also taste the local beer brewed only here (this is possible only during local festivals).

- The tour will start early in the morning and end late in the evening. All transfers are included in the trip price.
- The tour price does not include expenses for food and other personal expenses.

Excellent trip along an atypical, in my opinion, route. Despite the slightly disappointing weather, not a drop spoiled the impression; on the contrary, it added atmosphere! Highly recommend!
