Program
We will visit the city of love and the capital of the rebellious Kizikinzi - the beautiful Signagi. Holy places like Bodbe and the tomb of Saint Nino, ancient streets with colorful balconies, and unforgettable views of the valley, the unmatched national cuisine in a restaurant in a picturesque place with a glass of local Kindzmarauli or Saperavi wine will remain the brightest memories of the journey through Georgia!
At the National Museum, we will get acquainted with the works of Pirosmani and Gudiashvili, enjoy perhaps the most mesmerizing view of houses with red roofs located on a steep cliff. The city amazes with its authenticity and unique atmosphere, usually my guests do not want to leave from here!
After Signagi, we can visit some of the following attractions:
- Kindzmarauli Corporation Winery - a personal acquaintance with Georgian winemaking and the production process, the opportunity to taste probably the best wines in their natural environment!
- Nekresi - a small picturesque monastery (6th century) high on the mountain above Alazani Valley, the nature and views from the monastery are breathtaking!
- Gremi - a fortress city from the feudal era, the residence of Kakhetian kings. The rich museum and the excavation site present a clear picture of the development of the eastern regions of Georgia in the 17th-18th centuries.
