About this experience
In the city of love - Signagi, charming streets will lead you to the Bodbe Monastery. The fortress walls of Telavi will tell you the history of Kakheti. And at the local winery and wine factory, you will discover the main taste of Georgia. All against the backdrop of the picturesque Alazani Valley and Gombori Pass.
What to Expect
Country of Temples and Fortresses on the Hills
Along the landscapes of Kakheti, you will head to Signagi - a small picturesque town, where you will admire the panorama of the Alazani Valley and visit the Bodbe Monastery. Its ancient walls from the 4th century hold the history of Georgian Christianity and the fate of St. Nino, the relics of the great enlightener rest here. In addition, our route will pass through a watchtower fortress from the 16th century.
Country of Wines and Treats
You mention 'Kakheti' - you mention 'Georgian wine'! This association arose several centuries ago: you will learn about the history of local winemaking and how wine has long been associated with the life and religion of Georgia. At the beginning of the trip, you will visit a private home winery, and in the end - at a wine factory in Kvareli. In the world's largest wine storage you will hear about its storage features and taste Kakheti. You will also taste homemade cheese and chacha, be able to bake bread, personally brew tatara, and prepare churchkhela.
In the autumn, you can participate in grape harvesting, wine production, and chacha distillation.

- I will pick you up from your hotel in Tbilisi and drop you off

We stopped by Telavi and touched the 900-year-old plane tree. An unforgettable and delicious journey in Kakh...

We visited the Alazani Valley, Sighnaghi, the Bodbe Monastery, and had a tasting at the factory. We didn't get to the private winery, George said the road was closed there. Unfortu...
