About this experience
This picturesque town resembles a setting from a medieval novel about fair ladies, brave knights, and ghosts. Here you will find narrow streets, ancient stone buildings, and places with a magnificent view of the rocky fortress! Immerse yourself in the medieval spirit as you stroll through Cesky Krumlov and visit the walls of the most beautiful white estate in Prague - Hluboka-nad-Vltavou Castle.
What to Expect
Czech Windsor, or Hluboka-nad-Vltavou
After an informative history of Prague and Cesky Krumlov, you will have a long-awaited encounter with the white pearl of Bohemia. Jewelry, bastions, high turrets, columns, and the rushing Vltava River at the foot of the castle - it feels like stepping into Walt Disney's magical world! Before exploring the castle from the inside, you will take a walk through its grounds with a local guide, who will captivate you with the chronicles of this grand building. You will then discover the ancient halls and rooms, hunting trophies of former owners, and impressive knightly armor. The castle also houses a collection of items that inspired Bram Stoker to write the novel "Dracula". Find out more about this on the tour.
Krumlov - "a frozen fairy tale in stone"
I hope your camera still has memory, because the beautiful Cesky Krumlov awaits! Here you will enjoy an informative tour of the city, where every house is unique. Krumlov has preserved its original look from the distant 13th century. You will walk through the historical center and the "towns within the city" called Latran and Parkan. Along the way, you will see the Cloak Bridge, one of the most picturesque spots of Cesky Krumlov Castle, take a miniature train to the inner courtyard, and explore the surroundings and colorful terraces.
At the end, you can optionally have lunch in an authentic restaurant where you will be treated to Czech cuisine, beer, and wine.
