About this experience
The union of the 'city of the five-petal rose' and the Vltava River is a rare beauty spectacle. Frozen in the XVII century, Cesky Krumlov will enchant you with its ancient Castle and courtyards, the coziness of its streets resembling fairytale decorations, and will tell you about the paths where Hans Christian Andersen once walked. And I will share with you what the old town keeps silent about.
What to expect
The Cesky Krumlov Castle and its secrets
The historic center of Cesky Krumlov is the second largest in the country after Prague Castle. You will visit five old courtyards, see weapons from the Thirty Years' War that took place in Europe in the XVII century, and enjoy the views of the city and its surroundings from the observation deck. I will tell you why Cesky Krumlov got its nicknames and what treasure of the Czech Republic is still being mined nearby. You will meet Himalayan bears in the Cesky Krumlov Castle and enjoy the silence of its ancient streets.
300-year-old brewery and Bohemian atmosphere
After a walk around Cesky Krumlov, we can visit the brewery or as they call it in the Czech Republic, the Eggenberg Brewery - its history dates back almost 300 years! And if you wish, I will leave you alone with the city and will definitely tell you what to buy from local craftsmen. It's easy to find mixtures of medicinal herbs and unique stationery from South Bohemia - near Cesky Krumlov, there is the production of the old company 'Koh-i-Noor'. Before leaving the city, learning about the fate of the Rožmberk family residence, you will make a wish on the Mill Bridge, take a look at the surroundings, and I am sure you will want to come back here more than once.
