About this experience
Cesky Krumlov is the most picturesque city in Czech Republic. It's like a fairy-tale town frozen in the 16th century. You will explore it from above - from the best viewing platform and by walking through its cozy streets. Apart from the most beautiful city, you will also visit the most beautiful castle in Hluboka-nad-Vltavou. If you prefer, instead of the castle, you can go for a beer tasting at a brewery.
What to Expect
At 9:30 I will meet you at your hotel and we will head to the south of Czech Republic. The journey to Cesky Krumlov will take about 2.5 hours. Along the way, we will talk about history and traditions. I will tell you about modern life, Czech people, prices, and salaries. You can ask me any questions to discover the real Czech Republic.
Cesky Krumlov. We will ascend to the most impressive viewing platform and enjoy the views. Then we will start a stroll through this magnificent city.
Lunch (optional). After exploring the city, we will head to a medieval tavern for lunch. Czech cuisine definitely deserves special attention. We will talk about it at the restaurant.
Hluboka Castle. We will go to the town of Hluboka-nad-Vltavou to appreciate the local architectural wonder, the eponymous castle. After parking the car, we will walk uphill for 10 minutes. I will introduce you to the dynasties that lived in the castle and, of course, its ghosts. Inside the castle, you can book a 40-minute tour conducted in Czech language. Texts in Russian will be provided to you.
Brewery Visit. Instead of the castle, there is an option to visit the Budejovicky Budvar beer production with a tasting. Tours in Russian are available here only upon request. Write to me in advance if you are interested, and I will check the possibility of arranging it at the brewery.
Return to Prague around 19:00.
