About this experience
In just a few hours, you will be able to see not only the advertised Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló, but also eight other outstanding creations of Antoni Gaudí, most of which many tourists are not even aware of.
What to expect
Antoni Gaudí was a true Catalan, and most of his masterpieces were created in Barcelona. Some of them are known worldwide. But to fully understand the genius of the master, one must immerse oneself in his fantastic creations. In just a few hours, we will visit different districts of the capital of Catalonia and enjoy both famous and unknown Gaudí works.
- Bellesguard Castle Gaudí recreated medieval fortifications and built a castle for the Figueras family. This is where the royal dynasty of Catalan rulers was once interrupted. It was also the base of the famous bandit Seralonga.
- Pavilions of the Guëll Estate in Pedralbes There are rumors that the dragon located on the central gates of this creation sometimes comes to life and is ready to devour any enemy.
- Casa Vicens This fairytale house—the first residential building built by Gaudí—is created in the 'neomudejar' style.
- Casa Calvet During the construction of this building, Antoni Gaudí experimented with new technologies, which soon became extremely fashionable—special treatment of stone from Montjuïc Mountain, oval balcony shapes... Here you can also find the most beautiful door knocker in the city with an image of a bug.
- School at the Monastery of Saint Teresa Knowing Gaudí's unconventional thinking, the clients set conditions for him: to coordinate every detail with them. Despite the creative constraints, the architect managed to create a modernist masterpiece from strict details.
- Gates of the Milàry Estate According to legend, passing through them can grant creative inspiration. And besides, you can take a photo with the great genius.
- Güell Palace This is the most musical building built by Gaudí. In the center of the house is an organ. On the roofs are fantastic figures resembling fairy mushrooms. Journalists compared the construction of this palace to the construction of the Tower of Babel.
- Lanterns on the Royal Square This was the first commission that the city authorities made to the great master. And the last. The city's budget couldn't even afford this small creation. Gaudí became the city's most expensive architect.
