About this experience
Gaudi made Barcelona unlike any other city in the world. You can argue for hours whether he was a genius or a madman - but it's better to simply enjoy the beauty of his creations. During the tour, you will delve into the details of the Sagrada Familia cathedral, admire the famous houses, and visit Park Guell. And I will share curious facts from the architect's biography, reveal his creative path, and explain how he influenced the city's development.
What to expect
Main creations
Your acquaintance with Antoni Gaudi will begin at the Calvet House - one of the architect's early projects. Next, you will see the fantastical Batllo House, whose roof is adorned with a dragon's scale. We will walk through the most beautiful and expensive area of Eixample, which used to be capped off by the Mila House - another Gaudi masterpiece. A couple of metro stations away and we will reach the ever-unfinished Sagrada Familia cathedral, whose facades can be endlessly admired.
Gaudi: creative path
I will reveal the most interesting aspects of the great Gaudi's life to you, explain the influence that his native Catalonia had on the genius's creativity, and tell you what the Catalans think about the Sagrada Familia temple and its completion. We will also discuss the subtleties of his style and approach to work. We will examine his creations in detail and discuss the impressions they make. Our tour will end at Park Guell - we will stroll through its free area, and after the tour, you will be able to independently visit the paid area to see the famous bench that winds for three hundred meters.
