For a few hours, you will be fully immersed in the atmosphere and history of the beautiful Barcelona, inhale the aroma of Catalan coffee, and visit the most interesting places of the city - both well-known worldwide and hidden from the eyes of ordinary tourists.
What to expect
Masterpieces of the ingenious Gaudi
Near the Sagrada Familia, I will tell you about the secrets of the creative laboratory of the legendary Gaudi, and what the Sagrada Familia really looks like. Here, I will talk about the main symbols of the temple and the biblical stories on its facades. After that, we will explore two other creations of the great master - Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, immersing in the bustling flow of Barcelona residents on the fashionable street Passeig de Gracia.
Walking tour through the old quarters of Barcelona
The excursion route will pass through the main historical districts of the city, where every corner can tell you about a certain period of Catalonia's history:
- You will walk through the colorful Gothic Quarter, see the Cathedral in the style of classical Gothic. Upon your request, we can also visit the columns of the Temple of Augustus.
- You will see and learn the history of the famous Bishop's Bridge (Bridge of Kisses).
- Visit the historic Jewish Quarter, where one of the oldest synagogues in Europe is located.
- Examine the King's Palace, where Columbus arrived with news of the discovery of the Hispaniola.
- Immerse yourself in the midst of Catalonia's political events at the main municipal square.
- And discover many other interesting non-touristic places in the Old Town. Upon your request, we can visit a unique cafe where the famous 'cortado' coffee is prepared in a special way.
Organizational Details
- We can also visit Park Guell additionally (+2 hours and 110 euros). You can get to Park Guell by taxi (≈9 euros) or by metro, but it will take quite a while to climb up to the park. The choice of transport is yours!
- Tickets to Park Guell (including for the guide) can only be ordered online in advance. The ticket price is 10 euros/person.
- An additional hour of the main tour costs 40 euros. For each additional person - 40 euros. For children from 6 to 14 years old - 30 euros/child, from 4 to 6 years old - 25 euros/child.
