From Tbilisi to Kazbegi - through the natural and historical wonders of Georgia (in a group)
About this experience
We invite you to the amazing corners of Georgia, where every turn reveals beautiful landscapes, and the mountains and forests preserve pristine beauty. This land is rich in history, which the guide will tell you about during the trip. You will drive along the Military-Georgian Road, see the merging of two rivers and a waterfall in a secluded place, not yet familiar to tourists, as well as ascend to the church, seemingly floating under the clouds.
What to Expect
Jinvali Reservoir
Already beyond Tbilisi, we will stop at several points to admire the turquoise expanse of the reservoir. And we will also see how the two rivers, the White and Black Aragvi, without mixing, carry their waters against the backdrop of impressive landscapes.
Friendship Arch
Continuing on our journey, we will climb higher. We will drive past pastures where sheep graze and reach the highest point of the Cross Pass. We will stop at the Friendship Arch, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the surroundings. Get your cameras ready, these views must be captured!
Military-Georgian Road
We will add historical touches to our journey. The guide will talk about important moments from Georgia's past, the Ananuri fortress, its military significance, and architecture. We will also stop at the travertine cliff, where mineral waters flow. You will be able to try natural Narzan.
Stepantsminda (formerly Kazbegi until 2007)
The culmination of the trip will be meeting with the majestic Kazbek. In the mountain settlement of Stepantsminda, we will take jeeps to the Gergeti Trinity Church. It feels like it stands right under the clouds. You will also see the Monastery of Archangels Michael and Gabriel - a symbol of faith and unity.
Gveleti Waterfall
In a secluded corner, not yet open to mass tourism, away from the hustle and bustle, we will enjoy beautiful views and mountain air. There is also a small waterfall and lake here.
