Group tour from Tbilisi to Kazbegi and Gudauri
About this experience
On a trip along the Military Georgian Road, you will see some of the most beautiful and diverse places in Georgia. We'll travel where Pushkin and Lermontov traveled. We will explore a constellation of mountain peaks, turbulent rivers and picturesque lakes, ancient churches and fortresses. Our route will be maximally saturated and comfortable at the same time - so you will discover all the facets of this corner of the Caucasus!
What to expect
The road is long and picturesque
In this one-day journey, you will spend almost 11 hours, but you won't get bored: it will be interesting for connoisseurs of beautiful views, history lovers, and those who like to show off spectacular photos on social networks. Moreover, the list of locations on my route differs from the standard set - we will visit a couple of secret places!
In our program:
- Jinvali Reservoir - admiring the azure smoothness of the water in the arms of forested mountains, you will learn about its creation and importance for Tbilisi
- Ananuri village - we will guide you through the submerged bridge and show you the secret underground room where the Aragvian princes hid and rescued themselves in case of enemy attacks
- Confluence of the White and Black Aragvi rivers - within arm's reach, you will see how the colorful water streams behave amazingly
- Stone Faces Valley - the very secret location that usually remains off the beaten path. Here, on huge rocks, faces of outstanding figures of Georgia are carved.
- Mountaineer village Seturbe - at an altitude of 1900 meters, you will have a stunning view of the Gudauri ski resort. Here we will definitely take photos and try the most aromatic mountain honey.
- Pass cross and travertine rock - a true wonder of nature: mineral waters flow down orange slopes, and nearby there is a spring where you will taste slightly salty Narzan.
- Stepantsminda and Gergeti Trinity Church - here we will change to jeeps and ascend to a height of 2,190 meters to the secret storehouses where medieval monks hid relics. If you wish, you can paraglide over the Caucasus Range in one of the most picturesque places in Georgia.
In case of extreme weather conditions or other force majeure, we will change the route and take you to the monument "Chronicles of Georgia," known as Georgian Stonehenge, or to the longest seven-kilometer cable car in Georgia - Kobi-Gudauri.

Wonderful tour. Ideally, it would be great to add a bit of variety on the way back so that it's not as long sitting. However, you have a wonderful guide, Tamara, she is the highlight of this event. ))
