About this experience
The Italian capital is famous not only for its ancient buildings but also for the Baroque style, perfectly conveying its lively and chaotic atmosphere. You will learn why Rome became the homeland of the Baroque, what is characteristic of this direction, and how these 500-year-old creations continue to impress us to this day.
What to expect
Baroque Rome
I will tell you about the lives of geniuses Bernini and Borromini and help you see Rome through their eyes. You will walk along Via del Quirinale and see two small churches of rival architects. Visit Barberini Square and see the famous Trevi Fountain, where Anita Ekberg bathed in the movie 'La Dolce Vita'.
Piazza Navona and Castel Sant'Angelo
Baroque is a style that attracts with contradictions, passion, theatricality, and aesthetics. Despite all the visual possibilities of the modern world, its works still leave us speechless. For example, Piazza Navona will impress you with its incredible beauty and remind you of the ancient amphitheater that used to be in its place. And the elegant bridge will lead you to Castel Sant'Angelo with a beautiful view of the Vatican.
