Who was Bernini?
Against the backdrop of monuments and places that have long become 'brands' of Rome, you will learn about the life and work of the Italian sculptor and architect. In simple language, I will tell you about Bernini's biography, the features of his style and techniques, his friendships with the powerful of his time, and the legacy he left behind.

We will start with a masterpiece created by Bernini in his mature years. In the church of Santa Maria della Vittoria, beautiful in itself, you will examine the famous sculptural group 'The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa' and the entire Cornaro Chapel.

Rome is a city of fountains. Some of the most impressive fountains were gifted to it by Bernini. You will understand the symbolism of the Triton and Bees fountains in Piazza Barberini. You will admire the magnificent Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona and hear about the intrigues and complexities associated with its construction. We will also reach the Spanish Steps, at the foot of which stands the elegant Boat Fountain.

You will get acquainted with Bernini's projects in Piazza del Popolo and walk along the ancient pedestrian bridge of Sant'Angelo, adorned with 10 statues designed by Bernini. Special attention will be paid to two angels made by the master himself.

The walk will end at the monumental colonnade of St. Peter's Basilica, on which Bernini worked for 50 years.

During the tour, I will also take around fifty photos with you against the backdrop of landmarks and cozy locations. Don't worry if you have difficulties posing - I will help you relax in front of the camera and capture your genuine emotions.

This is a walking tour with a photo session without mandatory additional expenses. Possible expenses - for coffee and snacks at your discretion.

During an hour-long walk, you will get 35-40 color photos, and you can also choose frames for detailed retouching. Optionally, you can order the services of a stylist and costume rental (details to be clarified separately).
• You can also have a photo session without a tour and discuss the direction, theme, style, and locations of the shoot in advance.
