About this experience
Kakheti is a land famous not only for its fertility and beauty, but also for its centuries-old traditions. Our journey will allow you to experience both gastronomy and history and architecture. We will taste churchkhela, bread, wine, chacha, and participate in master classes. We will visit the monastery of Saint Nino with a holy spring and views of the mountains. And also in the charming town of Sighnaghi.
What to expect
Excursion is an excursion, but we can't take you to the mountains on an empty stomach! So, we will start at our office with a morning snack: sweet churchkhela, fruits, tea, and water.
Our program
To the village of Manavi - for churchkhela. It is here that this sweet treat is made according to ancient recipes - you won't find anything tastier. During the tasting, you will try the legendary churchkhela and, if you wish, prepare it yourself at a master class.
To the village of Badiauri - for bread. This place is famous for shoti - a special Georgian bread. First, you will taste it straight from the tone (together with fresh cheese), and then, if you want, practice cooking it again.
Monastery of Saint Nino - a key point of our journey of the soul and body. After all, this is one of the main shrines for Orthodox Georgians. Moreover, from the monastery, you will enjoy a stunning view of the mountain ridges and plains. Here you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the spring where Nino baptized Christians!
Sighnaghi. This town is located on the Alazani plain - the birthplace of the famous wine Kindzmarauli. Sighnaghi is called the city of love: according to an ancient legend, anyone who visits it will take a piece of an angel's heart, multiplying love and virtue in the world. Before entering the city, we will stop at the zipline if you want to take a ride on it. And then we will walk through Sighnaghi itself with its cobblestone narrow streets, small balconies, and wide verandas and climb to the observation deck on the fortress wall.
Long-awaited dinner. Next, we will visit a restaurant of homemade Georgian cuisine with a panoramic view of the valley. You will be served traditional dishes and a free tasting of more than 5 varieties of wine, several types of chacha, and brandy. Additionally, if desired, you can try yourself as a cook at master classes on making khachapuri, khinkali, and shashlik.

Guide Jamal is just amazing, the tour was a 100 out of 10. We visited all the points according to the route: Churchkhela was pure delight, and the bread and cheese were simply the highest pleasure, even though we are not connoisseurs of such products, but here it's something incredible.
