About this experience
My tour is for lovers of active recreation and national cuisine. We will start the trip with picturesque views of the Alazani Valley, continue with a horse ride in the mountains, and end with a lively Georgian feast. Of course, I will not leave you without the legends of Kakheti, as well as stories about local life and wine. I am a guide with over 20 years of experience, and I always have something to tell guests.
What to Expect
Horseback Ride
We will cross the Alazani Valley and arrive in the town of Lagodekhi. It is here where we will begin our horseback ride. The instructor will explain how to approach the horse, ride confidently, and will be there at all times. The ride will last 3.5–4 hours.
Georgian Feast
After enjoying the Caucasian mountains, we will head to a hospitable Georgian table. Whether in a forest restaurant or my home in a quiet corner of Kakheti, you decide— in the first case, you can choose the menu, in the second, let me offer you shashlik, khinkali, khachapuri, homemade bread and greens, wine and chacha, as well as the coziness and tranquility of my garden.
Organizational Details
- The tour includes transfer in a Honda minivan or Mercedes minibus, guide services, horse rental, and instructor services
- Lunch at a private house is an additional cost — starting from €18/person, or at a restaurant — optional
- Travel to the first location will take 2.5 hours
- I can conduct the tour for a group of 8 to 15 people. Cost — €350/group.
Note!
- For safety reasons, the tour will not be conducted in heavy rain or snowfall. In such cases, we will reschedule the trip by agreement.
- Please book the tour at least 7 days in advance, as horseback riding needs to be scheduled beforehand.
