About this experience
Kazbek is a dormant volcanic peak over five thousand meters high, celebrated in dozens of poems and novels. We will travel to it along the picturesque Military-Georgian Road, making stops at the Arch of Friendship, Jinvali Reservoir, and Ananuri Fortress along the way. If the weather permits, we will also visit the off-the-beaten-path Truso Gorge.
What to expect
Kazbegi: a world of fairy-tale landscapes
Get ready for an intense and incredibly beautiful day! In a cozy company, you will:
- Travel along the Military-Georgian Road, enjoying fantastic landscapes
- Admire the Jinvali Reservoir with turquoise water and the confluence of two rivers: Black and White Aragvi
- Touch the past of Georgia, examining the 16th-century Ananuri Fortress
- Peek into the canyon from the Friendship Arch, built in Soviet times
- See the legendary Kazbek Mountain and the Trinity Church located at its foot
If the weather permits, we will also visit the Truso Gorge with its rushing mountain rivers, waterfalls, and mineral springs.

- The tour takes place on a 2020 Mercedes Sprinter minibus
- You will be accompanied by a professional guide from our team
- Additional expenses: ascent to the Trinity Church by jeep (optional) - 20 lari per person, lunch - around 25-30 lari

On November 2nd, the excursion to Kazbegi was led by the wonderful and soulful guide Georgy. Attentive to both Russian and foreign guests, he told a lot of interesting information. He helped with the transfer to the hotel in Stepantsminda. We also note the very delicious lunch. Natalya and Svetlana.
