Immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Georgia! Learn how to cook real Georgian khinkali and khachapuri. Taste wines from different regions of the country and the legendary chacha. Discover how to pair drinks with dishes and the toasts to make at feasts.
What to Expect
Guided Walk and Culinary Master Class
You will stroll along the pedestrian street of old Tbilisi past the underground market, the monument of "Mother of Kartli", and the Tamada statue. Learn how the city was reconstructed after the invasion of the Iranian Shah and where in Georgia you can buy a flower from any point in the world.
Wine Tasting
You will be taught how to pair wines with different foods and how to drink from a horn during a feast. Discover the toasts Georgians make and understand the sequence of toasts. Sample several types of wines - rkatsiteli, saperavi, kisi, and kindzmarauli - and the classic chacha.
Organizational Details
- The master class on making khachapuri and khinkali is optional and costs an additional €25/person.
- The excursion is suitable for adults and children from 6 years old.
