About this experience
This is not just a cooking lesson, but a whole journey into the history and culture of Georgia, as the venue is an 18th century house recognized as a cultural heritage site! We will reveal the secrets of making khinkali and khachapuri in the Adjara style, help you shape them following all the rules, and treat you to authentic Georgian wine.
What to Expect
- We will start the tour by immersing you in history. We will guide you through an authentic courtyard and mysterious dungeons in the reconstructed cellar of our house, where every stone holds the secrets of past eras.
- Next, you will enjoy a tasting of four Georgian wines from the Kakheti region. You will try rkatsiteli, kindzmarauli, tvishi, and saperavi, learn about their history and production nuances. We will also tell you what dishes they pair best with. If you wish, we will treat you to chacha.
- Time to cook! Using our many years of culinary experience, we will teach you how to make the famous dishes of Georgian cuisine - khinkali and khachapuri in the Adjara style. You will dive into the world of legends and traditions of local gastronomy and at the end of the master class, you will enjoy tasting your culinary creations.
