What to expect
Time in pleasant company
You will be greeted by the chef of one of the most delicious restaurants in Tbilisi. You will meet and be treated to a large glass of homemade Georgian wine and an assortment of traditional cheeses. Our waiter will talk about the basic differences in wines presented on the restaurant's menu. While you cook, you will be entertained by the lively Tbilisi stories of the Sololaki district and interesting houses in the neighborhood.
Master class on khinkali and khachapuri
You will prepare two of the most famous dishes of Georgian cuisine. You will start with the dough for khachapuri, learn about all its varieties and regions of origin. Then you will make the filling for khinkali (the chef prepares the dough in advance), learn how to weave beautiful pleats on khinkali and properly remove the tails. You will also hear funny stories related to this dish. While everything is baking and cooking, the chef will talk about Georgian spices and how to use them in your favorite dishes.
Then it's time to sit at the table! You will enjoy the dishes you have prepared and a salad of fresh vegetables with Kakhetian oil.
