About this experience
The tour in the center of Beijing includes places that will tell you the most about the history and culture of the Chinese people. You will visit landmarks of one of the largest squares in the world. Experience the former grandeur of the Forbidden City and learn about the principles of palace architecture. Explore the alleys of authentic hutongs on a rickshaw. You will also visit the center of Chinese medicine and participate in a tea ceremony.
What to Expect
Tiananmen Square. During the Qing dynasty, important state organs were located here; now you will see the People's Great Hall, Mao Zedong Mausoleum, and the National Museum. The square's area is about 44 hectares!
Forbidden City. In the heart of Beijing, you will tour the magnificent imperial complex, which was the center of China for half a millennium. Learn about the peculiarities of ancient Chinese palace architecture and the monument's history.
Hutong Rickshaw Tour. Hutongs are traditional Chinese medieval neighborhoods in Beijing. You will ride through ancient alleys and gain insight into the lifestyle of ancient Chinese people through the city's unique planning.
Foot Massage. Few have not heard of the wonders of Chinese medicine. The art of Eastern healing is an integral part of the national culture. At the specialized center, you can undergo a free traditional diagnosis and optionally receive a point-reflex foot massage.
Tea Ceremony. To conclude, you will be introduced to Chinese tea culture, which has evolved over centuries, with each element holding its own significance. In the tea house, you will taste 6-7 varieties of the beverage.

- Transfer is not included in the price. Travel between locations is by taxi at the travelers' expense.

- Extra expenses: Forbidden City ticket - 60 yuan per person (from November to March, the cost will be 40 yuan); foot massage (45 minutes) - 60 yuan per person
- In case of ticket unavailability (organizer will notify 6 days in advance), you can visit Jingshan Park (2 yuan per person) and enjoy a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from there
