About this experience
On a car-pedestrian tour, you will get acquainted with the main attractions and touch the history and culture of the Celestial Empire. You will see where Mao Zedong is buried, walk around the former Imperial Garden, and participate in a tea ceremony. Additionally, if you wish, you will try Beijing duck according to the original recipe.
What to expect
Tiananmen Square
This is one of the largest squares in the world - 440,000 m². You will see the Monument to the People's Heroes and Mao Zedong's Mausoleum. And you will learn what similarities Tiananmen Square has with Red Square in Moscow.
Jingshan Park
Jingshan, formerly the Emperor's garden, consists of five hills, each with a palace in Chinese style. I will tell you from which point of the park you can see the Forbidden City in the south, the Olympic Park in the north, Old Beijing in the west, and the modern high-rise building in the east.
Temple of Heaven
You will learn how this place is related to sacrificial rituals and what, according to ancient Chinese, influenced their well-being. The complex includes several buildings and in 1998 it was included in the UNESCO list.
Tea Ceremony
China is the homeland of tea. We will stop at a specialized shop where you will participate in an authentic tea ceremony. You will understand the difference in tea varieties and, if desired, buy your favorite products.
Beijing Cuisine (optional)
If you wish, additionally we will visit a restaurant serving traditional Beijing duck.

For transit travelers
Attention! If you have a layover in China of less than 24 hours + arrival and further departure from one terminal, you will not be issued a transit visa and will not be allowed into the city (unfortunately, these are the rules at the moment). So, in this situation, you will not be able to go on the tour.
