What to expect
History of the main square
Our journey will start with China's 'business card' - Tiananmen Square. By scale and level of importance for the country, it can be compared to Red Square in Moscow. You will see Mao Zedong's mausoleum, the monument to the heroes of World War II, the local House of Soviets, the National Museum, and the central gate with the portrait of the great leader. You will also learn about the events held on the square and the people who worked on its creation.
Secrets of the Forbidden City
You will visit the world's largest palace complex and learn about how Chinese rulers lived, what troubles and joys they encountered, what they dreamt of, and what they believed in. In addition, I will explain the significance of the size of the funeral square, the Feng Shui laws by which the city was planned, and why the dark red color prevails in it. We will also definitely visit the picturesque park with a lake and plants imported from the south of China.
Organizational details
- Optionally, we can also include a tea ceremony and/or lunch with Peking duck in the excursion. Food and drinks are paid separately
- Entrance tickets to the Forbidden City are not included in the price - 60 yuan per person

For transit travelers
Pay attention! If you have a layover in China less than 24 hours + arrival and departure from one terminal, you will not be issued a transit visa and will not be released into the city (unfortunately, these are the rules at the moment). Therefore, in this situation, you will not be able to go on the excursion.
