About this experience
Embark on a comfortable minibus for an enriching journey to the legendary Mount Kazbek! Along the way, you will see the turquoise Zhinvali Reservoir, explore the Ananuri Monastery, and visit the Gudauri resort. An experienced guide will accompany you, passionately sharing insights about Georgia, its history, and modern life.
What to Expect
- Zhinvali Reservoir. It has been supplying Tbilisi with drinking water for almost 100 years. This artificial lake submerged several monasteries during its construction. You will learn about the details of these events on the tour.
- Ananuri Monastery. You will visit a 17th-century temple complex which includes: Upper and Lower castles, walls and towers, churches of the Virgin, the Deity, and the 'Healer', a bell tower, and an octagonal cell.
- Confluence of the White and Black Aragvi Rivers. We will ascend to an observation platform that offers a magnificent view of this natural wonder.
- Friendship Arch. You will see a vibrant Soviet monument dedicated to the friendship between the Georgian and Russian peoples.
- Gudauri Resort Village. Enjoy the majestic mountains, take a leisurely walk, breathe in the crystal-clear air, and if you wish, take a quad bike ride.
- Kazbek and Trinity Church. By jeeps, we will climb Mount Gergeti, where the ancient Trinity Church is located. You will hear its history and marvel at the views of the snowy Kazbek.

- One of our team's guides will lead the tour for you.
- The program includes a stop for lunch at a local cuisine restaurant. The average check is 20-30 lari per person. You will also be offered a free wine and chacha tasting.
- Additional expenses: jeeps to the Trinity Church - 20 lari per person, quad bikes in Gudauri (optional) - 50 lari.
