About this experience
Kakheti is a region with a rich history that you will immerse yourself in during our tour. You will visit the Alazani Valley with numerous medieval monasteries and wineries, learn the legends of the most romantic city in our country - Signagi, visit the ancient castle of Gremi. And of course, you will taste Georgia. The tastings of churchkhela, bread, cheese, and wine are already included in the price.
What to Expect
- Manavi. Here awaits you a grand tasting of Georgian treasures - churchkhela, fruit leather, honey, and chacha.
- Badiouri. Witness the traditional shoti bread being baked in a clay oven.
- The city of love, Signagi. Stroll along the 18th-century fortress wall, delve into the history of its construction, admire the views of the Alazani Valley, and discuss why this city is considered the most romantic in the country.
- Bodbe Monastery. You will see the place where Saint Nino is buried.
- Telavi. Visit the palace of Irakli II, the mighty 800-year-old plane tree, and taste premium wines - Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Tsinandali, and more. The guide will inform you about Georgian wine production technologies, its varieties, and storage methods.
We will return to Tbilisi via the Gombori Pass with magnificent views of the sunset.
