About this experience
Every summer, the municipality of Jerusalem holds a music and light festival in the Old City. Music plays on the illuminated streets, and light paintings come to life on the city walls. I invite you to take a walk with me through evening Jerusalem. I will show you the night city and tell you its history. And if we start early enough, we can also visit the Holy Sites.
Program
- We will meet at Jaffa Gate and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We will see the place of Christ's crucifixion - Golgotha, the cave of Adam, and the cave where St. Helena found the true cross.
- We will visit Cenacle - the chapel where Jesus spent three days.
- Then we will take a walk through the Jewish Quarter of the Old City,
- Next, we will go to Mount Zion, where the Upper Room of the Last Supper, the Church of the Dormition, and the tomb of King David are located.
- And we will touch the sacred Western Wall, important to all believers.
- At the end of the tour, we will enjoy the captivating sight of the light-music fountain.
