In addition to fantastic tastings, you will visit significant historical sites in Kakheti and, of course, enjoy the majestic landscapes.
What to expect
Eco cheeses: types and production
First, you will visit a village where you will taste unique cheeses. The variety will amaze you - cheeses that have been aged for several months in specially created conditions, goat, cow, sheep... The list is long! You will taste cheeses along with hot dedas puri from tone, and then taste real natural churchkhela and pastila. All this accompanied by a glass of wine and stories about the origins and nuances of preparing national dishes in Georgia. And then a wonderful tasting awaits you at the largest winery in the region.
Historical landmarks of Kakheti
Next, you will visit the ancient fortress of kidnapped brides and be able to make a wish. Then, along a picturesque road, you will head to the homeland of Mimino - Telavi, the heart of Kakheti, where you will take a stroll along the cobblestone streets of the old town and visit the palace
