What to Expect

• Saint Sargis Church. From here, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat, Victory Bridge, and brandy factories. While you admire the view, the guide will tell you about the nearby 12th-century Red Bridge and its role in the Russo-Persian War.

• Sports and Concert Complex named after K. Demirchyan on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd (translated as "Swallow's Fortress"), where the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915 is located.

• Davitashen Bridge, which offers an excellent view of the Razdan Gorge, Mounts Ara and Aragats, and Nor Arabkir Park with the world's only zipline passing under the bridge.

• Mother Armenia Monument. From here, we'll enjoy a panoramic view of Yerevan and compare it to the city's first master plan developed in the early 1920s. We'll not only see the Cascade Complex but also the hillside stairs where numerous vineyards used to grow. If the weather is clear, we'll savor the view of the mighty Mount Ararat.

• Old Nork. This district is also situated on a hill. The guide will share the history of this place and explain how the folk architecture and traditions of the old city have been well preserved here.

• Academician Sakharov Square - our final stop. On the way to it, you'll see the building of Yerevan State University, Chess House, and Cinema House. After parking the car in the square, we'll take a short walk to the center of Yerevan. There, at an authentic cafe, you'll enjoy coffee, tea, treats, and Armenian wine optional.
