Discover Tbilisi in One Day
About this experience
From the first minutes of your stay in Tbilisi, you will be captivated by the unique atmosphere of this amazing city, and even if you have been here before, I will help you discover many new things about it. The stories of its landmarks and local legends, the fates of famous Tbilisians who contributed to the city's growth, the vibrant colors, and centuries-old winemaking traditions – all of this awaits you on my tour, after which you will definitely want to come back here again.
What to Expect
Main Places of Tbilisi
All the iconic sites of the old city will be in front of you. I will tell you the most interesting stories about them and the history of Tbilisi, all the legends and unusual facts, so that you can feel and absorb the color of the Georgian capital. Our route will include:
- The Holy Trinity Cathedral – the main patriarchal church of Georgia;
- Mount Mtatsminda, from where the whole Tbilisi can be seen;
- The Bridge of Peace, connecting the old town with the modern buildings on the other bank, and the modern Rike Park;
- The district of sulfur baths in Abanotubani, admired by Pushkin himself;
- The Fig Gorge, where you will see a waterfall right in the center of Tbilisi.
Capture the Essence of the City
You will drive along Shota Rustaveli Avenue, Agmashenebeli Avenue, named after the German colony, and understand that the streets of Tbilisi are real poems in stone. I will introduce you to the history of the city and beautiful Georgian traditions, tell you about the lives of prominent public figures and the fates of other well-known residents who make Tbilisi look as it is. If desired, you can also learn about the peculiarities of Georgian winemaking by visiting a 17th-century wine cellar, where you will taste different varieties of wines for free under the expert guidance of a sommelier.
