I invite you to an exciting journey to the most beautiful places in Western Georgia! You will visit historical landmarks and natural beauties of the region. Admire the interiors of the beautiful palace of the Megrelian rulers, see the breathtaking Inguri Hydroelectric Power Station, the ancient Svan tower, and the unique metal bridge.
What to expect
- You will visit the exquisite palace of the rulers of Megrelia - the Dadiani princes - and stroll through the wonderful park
- In the museum of the palace, you will become acquainted with items from past centuries, a collection of weapons and paintings. And you will also see Napoleon's death mask.
- Head to the dam of the Inguri Hydroelectric Power Station and learn about its construction and operation history. Climb higher on the dam and admire the mesmerizing mountain views.
- From the car window, you will see one of the Svan towers and hear why they were built in the 8-13th centuries.
- Examine the metal bridge - a marvel of engineering concept. The structure looks unusual - we will make a stop to take photos of it.
