About this experience
I invite you to an amazing journey high up in the mountains, to the Greater Caucasus Range, where it can be cool even in summer and eternal snow lies. This is perhaps the richest trip in landscapes and emotions that you can make from Tbilisi! Get your cameras ready, and I will take mine to give you wonderful memories from this excursion.
What to Expect
Spectacular panoramic views
As an experienced photographer, I will show you the best angles for capturing landscapes and will stop at the most successful viewpoints.
Full immersion in the local atmosphere
You will hear poems by great Russian poets written here about these places; I will tell you the history of the construction of the Military-Georgian Road and Russian-Georgian relations. You will also taste traditional khinkali, as this is the birthplace of this dish.

Organizational Details
- The trip takes place in a comfortable minivan.
- This excursion is year-round, but the weather in the mountains and the condition of mountain roads should be taken into account. In heavy rain and snowfall, the trip will not take place, but I can reschedule it for another day or offer an alternative.
- The ascent to Gergeti Church is not always possible by a regular car – sometimes the road is blocked by snow (from November to April). In such a case, we will hike up — or for an additional fee, you can hire a 4x4 for the ascent.
- A photo shoot is a gift with the excursion, and the photos will be sent to you within two weeks.
- Lunch is not included in the price, but I will show you the best places to have lunch. Also, I want to warn you in advance that Kazbek is a capricious mountain; sometimes, even in clear weather, it can be covered in clouds. I haven't learned to drive them away yet =)
