You will see the main attractions such as the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, Casa Batlló, and Casa Mila, visit the Cathedral, stroll along the magnificent Paseo de Gracia, discover hidden details on the old streets, and trace the historical path of Barcelona. You will also learn about Catalan traditions, see the city through their eyes, and explore the unique features of traditional Catalan cuisine.
What to Expect
History and people of three Barcelona epochs
You will be introduced to the main attractions of three periods in the city's history, and we will tell you about the peculiarities and historical significance of each. Getting acquainted with the monuments will help you understand how the three epochs, which have left a great mark on the city, are interconnected. Historical narratives will intertwine with stories about the daily life and traditions of the people who lived here at different times. After all, Barcelona is the Iberians, the Romans, the Jews, and many other peoples. The program includes:
- Cathedral – you will learn why the city's inhabitants do not love the cathedral and hear its legends.
- Las Ramblas & Paseo de Gracia – the popular pedestrian and richest street in Barcelona.
- Sagrada Familia Cathedral – this temple embodies the essence of modernism. We will help you understand it and tell you about this brilliant project.
- Casa Batlló – the most Catalan building in Barcelona. What is hidden inside it besides the doors, windows, and roof?
- Casa Mila – you will learn about the noteworthy features on the roof of the building known as the Quarry.
- Catalonia Square – what is hidden under the square, where the light comes from, and where is the city of the future located? You will uncover these secrets.
