About this experience
Tired of monotonous tours with a bunch of incomprehensible dates and names? It's time to change that! Let's travel back to the Roman era, when the ancient city of Barsino was founded. We will visit the troubled district of Raval, take photos at the Wall of Kisses, visit the square where executions took place, and the square where modern Barcelona's history began. And this is only part of the program!
What to Expect
- Catalonia Square - the place where modern Barcelona's history began.
- La Rambla - the main pedestrian street dividing the old town and one of the most unfavorable areas - Raval.
- Cathedral Square and Cathedral of the Holy Cross and St. Eulalia, where traces of the Roman era are preserved.
- Wall of Kisses - modern art that permeates all of Barcelona in combination with untouched antiquity.
- Palace of Catalan Music, built at the beginning of the 20th century. It was here that all events were held without lighting.
- Philipp Neri Square, where the walls of a functioning school, damaged during the bombing during the civil war, have been preserved in their original form.
- King's Square - the place of executions. It was also through this square that Columbus passed to ask the monarchs for funds to build a fleet.
- Royal Square. Here stands the lanterns that Antonio Gaudi and his father made for a competition.
- Columbus Monument - a monument with the most unusual history.
- Port Vell - one of the oldest ports in Barcelona.
